L'Unione Italiana (The Italian Club) is a mutual aid society established by Tampa's Italian immigrant community in 1894. For generations, it was a center for social and cultural life in Tampa. Its buildings in Ybor City and West Tampa offered a variety of recreational and educational activities to its members, including large, fully equipped theatres and ballrooms.
